Once the speeches are finished and the tables have been cleared you could include a few songs for children to dance to on your music list. However, if you’re inviting many children to your wedding, you may want to consider hiring a children’s entertainer to keep them entertained whilst the adults are enjoying the wedding celebrations.  Magic shows or movie rooms are a good option.  Or perhaps you could organise a party for children in a separate room and provide them with filled party bags when it finishes. Most wedding venues will be able to organise this for you or at least be able to recommend a local entertainer.  Alternatively, they may be able to arrange for a local childminder to look after the kids and put them to bed.

Whilst you are likely to have a professional photographer capturing the key moments it can provide entertainment and lasting memories if you have a photo booth and props set up.  These can provide everlasting wedding favours for your guests to take home with them. Organise Activities for Children & Adults

If you are looking for a way to involve children and adults in activities together at your wedding reception, consider things that can be enjoyed by people of a variety of different ages. For example, you could create a quiz where people on each table work together as a team against the other tables.  Prepare some questions and get your guests to answer questions on a variety of different topics which relate to the hobbies and interests of the bride and groom.
